Over the past few months, we’ve shipped a series of product updates focused on making Companies House ID verification, workflows, and bulk actions easier to manage at scale. These changes are designed to save time, reduce manual work, and give firms clearer visibility across people and clients.
Below is a roundup of what’s new.
Smarter Filters For Bulk ID Verification

We’ve made it much easier to identify who still needs verifying.
From the People tab, you can now filter by Cryptographic status. This lets you quickly surface individuals with no cryptographic check completed or in progress, making it far simpler to kick off bulk verifications.
We’ve also added a Roles filter to the People tab. You can now filter by Directors, PSCs, and other roles so you can target the right people when running bulk ID verification workflows.
To complement this, there’s a new Email address filter. This allows you to filter people who have an email address and those who don’t, and it’s also included within the new Apply IDV filters option. This helps avoid starting verification journeys that can’t be completed.
Clearer ID Verification Experience For Clients
Several improvements have been made to reduce confusion for clients completing ID checks.
The BioVerify verification email now includes the client’s name on the “start verification” button. This is especially helpful when multiple verification requests are sent to the same email address.
When a client opens an ID verification link on desktop, we now make it clearer that the journey should be completed on mobile. This helps reduce failed or abandoned checks.
Firms can also now revoke an Advanced ID check that has already been sent. If a client tries to access a revoked link, it will show as no longer active. This also allows firms to switch to a cryptographic request if ID details were collected manually instead.
Improved Accuracy Across Dashboards

We’ve corrected how identity counts are calculated across the Firm dashboard.
Previously, counts for missing proof of identity, expired identity, and similar metrics included people linked to archived clients. These figures now only reflect individuals connected to active clients, giving a more accurate view of outstanding work.
Better Visibility Of Verification History

On an individual’s verification tab, we now show Evidence and Cryptographic history.
This includes previously completed cryptographic checks and BioVerify reports, helping firms see what’s already been done without switching screens. Electronic checks are not included at this stage.
We’ve also improved transparency when pulling data from Companies House. When related parties are imported, their original name from Companies House is now displayed in the Companies House section of their profile. This field is read only and ensures the original record is never lost, even if names are updated in Firmcheck. It will also refresh when “pull latest” is used.

New Next AML Due Date Field

A new Next AML due date field has been added to client profiles.
This field can be added or edited within the Client management tab. Once an AML review is completed, the next due date is automatically calculated based on the completed date and the scheduled review period.
If a client’s next AML due date is more than two months away, they will no longer appear in the to do column of the AML work tab. This helps teams focus only on what’s genuinely upcoming.
The new field has also been added to client bulk import CSV templates.
Companies House Verification Due Dates Now Captured

When you add a company from Companies House or use pull latest, the Companies House Verification due date is now automatically added to related individuals’ profiles.
If an individual has multiple appointments with different due dates, the earliest date is shown.
Coming next, we plan to surface this field directly in the People tab. This will allow filtering by due date when sending bulk verifications, and we’ll also backfill the data for existing related parties.
